Problem 1: AnyLogic is searching for the file "libudev.so.0", but only "libudev.so.1" exists on current Linux systems.

Registration of AnyLogic not working on Linux Continue with the registration and licensing procedure as explained above. Double-click on the desktop shortcut to start AnyLogic.On the desktop, the shortcut's name should now change to "AnyLogic" and a correct icon should appear. If so, execute "chmod 755 ~/Desktop/sktop" to set execution permissions for that shortcut file. The permissions on the sktop may be be incorrect.The installation should finish and should create a file named sktop on your desktop. Read the license, close it by pressing "q" and accept it.

At time of this writing, that would be "sh anylogic-university-6.6.0.". Open a terminal window and enter the folder where you downloaded AnyLogic to.your home directory (a sub-folder "AnyLogic" will be create automatically.)
